Hidden within the serenity of Santa Barbara, CA you’ll find a new world-class recording and mixing facility, Playback Recording Studio. The name is familiar; it’s the same name that its owner, Tucker Bodine, used when he opened his first studio in New York City on the East Coast. In 2009, Tucker completed the new West Coast Playback Recording Studio, which has now been honored with a TEC Award in 2009 for outstanding creative achievement in studio design.
Tucker Bodine began his audio career at SAE Institute’s original U.S. campus in New York City. After graduation he quickly went to work in New York prior to deciding to make it on his own and start the first Playback Recording Studio. more

SAE opened its first U.S. campus in New York City. This year, it recognizes the 10-year anniversary in the U.S. with an industry event held at its newest campus in San Francisco on October 22nd, 2009. The founder of SAE Institute, Tom Misner along with the Director of North American Operations, Udo Hoppenworth, and Director of the San Francisco campus, Einar Johnson will host the event to a gathering of industry professionals and local artists from the San Francisco Bay area. more

SAE Institute prides itself in providing quality hands-on training to students in multiple disciplines including audio engineering, digital film production, animation and web design.
